About the event
Course description
During this hands-on course, participants will learn the advanced concepts for Orthognathic Surgery including Maxillomandibular Advancement for Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSAS). It is composed of short lectures and small group discussions, supplemented with a hands-on section with drybones. Techniques and best practices in orthognathic and craniofacial surgery are taught. Lectures cover advanced digital technologies in orthognathic surgery and management of complex dentofacial deformities and sleep apnea surgery. Patient cases and treatment plans are discussed with expert faculty.
Target participants
This course is for surgeons and trainees in surgery across the craniomaxillofacial specialties (including oral and maxillofacial surgery, plastic, and orthodontists). It is targeted at participants who want to improve their knowledge or specialization in the management of complex patient problems in the field of CMF in relation to management of dentofacial deformities using orthognathic, craniofacial and sleep apnea surgery.
