Specialist examination OMF surgery
Passing the examination is proof that the candidate has acquired the necessary knowledge and skills to competently care for patients in the specialty of oral and maxillofacial surgery (for further information, see the current further education regulations).
Date / Time: once a year at the annual congress of the SGMKG in autumn (usually on the Thursday of the annual meeting).
Place: At the respective venue during the annual meeting of the SGMKG
Examination fee: The Society charges a fee of Fr. 450.00.

Informations:
Passing the specialist examination is a prerequisite for obtaining the specialist title for oral and maxillofacial surgery (any applicable transitional provisions and exceptions: Swiss Medical Journal No. 4 of 26 January 2011).
As of January 1, 2010, only physicians with a federal or FOPH-recognized foreign medical diploma are admitted to the specialist examination (Art. 23 WBO). The transitional provisions are set out in Art. 69 Para. 3 of the WBO.
