Dentists, as the initial contact persons for questions concerning oral health, have the responsible task of correctly assessing the disease value of oral mucosal changes and deriving adequate measures from this. The interdisciplinary composition of speakers from the fields of oral and maxillofacial surgery, oral surgery, pathology, otorhinolaryngology and dermatology is intended to provide a practice-relevant overview of oral mucosal changes and current therapy concepts, thus creating more certainty in diagnostics, therapy and indication for further clarification. Due to the interdisciplinary composition of the speakers, the training is also aimed at colleagues from otorhinolaryngology, dermatology or family medicine.
