In the field of radiological imaging, major technological advances have been made in recent years. In addition to improvements in the field of fan beam tomography (CT), these advances have resulted in multiple innovations in the field of cone beam computer tomography / digital volume tomography (CBCT/DVT). This also includes numerous positive aspects relevant to radiation protection. The widespread use of DVT imaging requires expanded and in-depth training. In addition to the recommendations developed by the Federal Commission for Radiation Protection and Monitoring of Radioactivity, adjustments to the requirements for expertise and specialist knowledge are now being implemented as part of the revision of the FOPH's radiation protection regulations. For medical specialists who work with ionizing radiation, it is now mandatory to acquire the necessary specialist knowledge as part of a corresponding course recognized by the FOPH.
We are pleased to be able to offer an interdisciplinary, BAG-recognized expert course for training in cone beam CT (CBCT) / digital volume tomography (DVT) of the Swiss Society for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery SGMKG and the Swiss Society for Oto-, Rhino- and Laryngology SGORL.

These past years, the important technological advances are also accomplis in the domain of the radiological image. En plus d'améliorations dans le secteur de la tomodensitométrie à faisceau en éventail (TDM/CT), ces progrès ont apporté de multiples innovations dans le domaine de la tomodensitométrie à faisceau conique (CBCT)/tomografie volumique numérisée (TVN), comprenant également de nombreux aspects positives en terms de radioprotection. The usage of the TVN image requires a strong and solid formation. Outre les recommandations élaborées par la Commission fédérale de radioprotection, les adaptations aux exigences en matière de compétences et d'expertise sont désormais mises en œuvre dans le cadre de la Révision des ordonnances relatives à la radioprotection de l'OFSP. Pour les médecins spécialistes travaillant with des rayonnements ionisants, the acquisition of the expertise needed in the cadre d'un cours adapté reconnu par the OFSP is désormais obligatoire.
Nous nous réjouissons de proposer un cours d'experts interdisciplinaire reconnu par l'OFSP pour la formation à la CBCT / TVN, à l'initiative de la Société Suisse de chirurgie oral et maxillo-faciale (SSCOMF) et de la Société Suisse d' oto-rhino-laryngology (SSORL).
